About the Bull Shark

One of the few sharks that can live in both salt and fresh water. They have been found 4,000 km up the Amazon River and in Lake Nicaragua. Their kidneys and rectal glands can adjust to any salinity level. They are responsible for more attacks on humans than great whites in some areas. They are extremely territorial and aggressive. They can live 16+ years. They give birth to 1-13 live pups. They are found in water less than 30 meters deep. They have the highest testosterone level of any shark. They are the most likely shark encountered by humans due to their coastal habitat.
